*plek-

The new fragment of the project on heterotopias "C/o" is dedicated to the internal space of a fold. It's a bending that can be opened and interpreted, that may conceal or defer to an event. Fold as an origami indication or as a trace of curling and developing a sheet. It's a groove that display the strain of a movement. It's a furrow able to forecast information. It's the interval to negotiate the distance. It's the small gap of emptyness that disappear in the adherence and melts in the ubiquity of a contact. Fold thrown open in the violent process of explanation.

In italian, like in other neolatin languages, the words "fold" (translation "piega" from the latin "*plek-" ) and explanation ("spiegazione", litteraly "stretching a fold") shares the same root
